The 47th edition of Akademická Nitra, the international festival of academic folklore ensembles, officially opened on July 6 with a vibrant traditional parade through Nitra’s pedestrian zone. Performers in folk costumes captivated passersby with song, dance, and music, drawing large crowds to the city center.

Summer Science Camp BioTox Kicks Off at the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences
On July 7, the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences at the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra launched the first edition of the BioTox Summer Science Camp — a week-long international event organized by the Institute of Applied Biology (IAB).

SUA hosted representatives of universities and companies at the UNINFOS Conference
The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra hosted representatives from Slovak and Czech universities, as well as companies collaborating with universities in the field of information technology from June 26-27. Under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research, and Youth of the Slovak Republic, and SPU Rector Klaudia Halászová, the 31st annual UNINFOS conference (UNIversity INFOrmation Systems) with the subtitle "Digital Future of Higher Education" took place at the Creative Center of SUA.
