Current Mobility Guidelines (COVID-19)

On 10 June 2020, the Measure of the Public Health Office of the Slovak Republic in the event of a threat to public health (OLP / 4739/2020) enters into force. The measure includes a list of 19 countries (so-called "safe countries") to which you can travel without restriction, as well as guidelines on how to proceed when returning from other countries.

We draw attention to the fact that the list of safe countries could change. We draw attention to the continuing need to monitor the current development of the situation:
 
  • development of the epidemiological situation on the website of the Public Health Office of the Slovak Republic (http://www.uvzsr.sk/), including the updating of the list of "safe countries";
  • restrictions on borders and conditions of entry into countries on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic (https://www.mzv.sk/cestovanie-a-konzularne-info); or the website of the European Union (https://reopen.europa.eu/sk/)
  • continue to follow the recommended safety and hygiene measures.

According to regulation of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic in relation to spreading of coronavirus (2019-nCoV) all the tours, excursions and study stays of students and staff abroad have been cancelled from  March, 9th 2020. The above stated also concerns the university staff members.

Since this regulation is still valid, Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra does not send Slovak participants to mobilities or business trips and similarly does not accept foreign participants for stay here.

Student and staff mobilities in the academic year 2020/2021 are planned in accordance with favourable epidemiologic situation in the standard regime from September 2020 (including the possibility for accommodation for foreign students at the Polnohospodar dormitory, the possibility for ordering food in the university canteen etc.)

However, the actual realisation of mobilities is determined by the current situation in the Slovak Republic and in the world concerning the spreading of the COVID 19 virus, current regulations of the Public Health Authority of the Slovak Republic, Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs. Lastly, it is necessary to take into consideration the decision of the receiving country as well as the decision of the receiving institution about acceptance or rejection of foreigners given country.

The period for the realisation of mobilities for the academic year 2019/2020 has been extended:

- for KA103 mobilities, the duration of the programme is until  May, 30th 2021

-for KA107 mobilities, the duration of the programme is until  July, 31st 2021

The estimated period for the realisation of KA103 mobilities in the academic year 2020/2021 is following:

-Duration of the programme: June, 1st 2020- September, 30th 2021

Sending students within Erasmus+ KA103 programme

- study stay: Taking into consideration the current situation at partner institutions, students will be informed if the chosen university offers the possibility for the realisation of the mobility in winter semester through attendance form of education or if they prefer the distance form. European commission is ready to implement online form of education as a relevant part of the programme and it will support it. The procedure of acceptance in each country could be different. The estimated date for starting  mobilities is from September, 1st 2020.

-traineeship: The application procedure for traineeship will begin until the end of May and it will last until June, 25th 2020. We are planning to realise mobilities of all applicants. The possible starting date of mobilities will be after July, 1st 2020.

Mobilities will be realized according to situation in the receiving country, with consideration of  current situation in the Slovak Republic and regulations of the crisis team of the Slovak Republic.

 

Sending students within Erasmus+KA107 programme

-study stay: Sending students for a mobility through Erasmus+KA107. The selection procedure will be realized in September 2020. The soonest possible starting date of mobilities is January 2021

Accepting students within Erasmus+KA103/KA107 programme

-study stay and traineeship: The application procedure for a student mobility (study stay and traineeship) through Erasmus+ K103 programme is still open administratively by receiving nominations from partner universities. The soonest possible starting date of mobilities is a week before the beginning of the academic year 2020/2021.

The application procedure for a student mobility (study stay and traineeship) through Erasmus+ KA107 programme. This is currently dealt with administratively as we are signing inter-institutional agreements. Nominations of students will be accepted continuously. The soonest possible starting date of mobilities will be a week before the beginning of the summer semester 2020/2021. Students who have been chosen in the previous selection procedure have the possibility to realize their mobility until  July, 31st 2021, due to extension of the programme.

 

Sending members of staff within Erasmus+ KA103/KA107

- teaching and training: Sending members of staff through Erasmus+ KA103- the members of staff who have been chosen for a mobility in the academic year 2019/2020 can realize their mobilities in the academic year 2020/2021 until May, 31st 2021, due to extension of the programme. The selection procedure for staff mobilities in the academic year 2020/2021 will be realized in September 2020.

Sending members of staff through Erasmus+ KA107. The members of staff who have been chosen  for a mobility in the academic year 2019/2020 can realize their mobilities in the academic year 2020/2021 until July, 31st 2021, due to extension of the programme. The selection procedure for staff mobilities in the academic year 2020/2021 will be realized in September 2020.

Accepting members of staff within Erasmus+KA103/KA107 programme

-teaching and training: The application procedure for Erasmus+KA103 is currently dealt with administratively by accepting and processing the documentation from partner universities. The soonest possible starting date of the mobility will be specified with consideration of the current situation concerning COVID 19.

Accepting members of staff within Erasmus+ KA107 is currently dealt with administratively by signing inter-institutional agreements. The documentation of members of staff will be accepted continuously. The soonest possible starting date is the beginning of the summer semester 2020/2021. The members of staff who have been chosen for a mobility in the previous selection procedure can realize them until July, 31st 2021, due to extension of the programme.

 

The same procedure can be applied for student and staff foreign stay within other types of mobilities (bilateral agreements, government scholarships, National scholarship programme, CEEPUS etc.) For current information please contact the responsible person for the chosen programme.
