VUA Summer School 2014: Sustainable Development and Water Management

The International Summer School organized by SUA in cooperation with Visegrad University Association member universities will be held in the period of 23.6. – 6.7. 2014. The topic of this year´s summer school is SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND WATER MANAGEMENT.
This season, the first week of the summer school will be organized in Nitra, Slovakia (with a one day trip to Vienna and a Visegrad evening). The second week will take place in Hamburg, Germany (Hamburg University of Applied Sciences).
Lectures, organized in Nitra will be delivered as parallel sessions in English and Russian. Lectures in Hamburg will be in English only. Active participants will be awarded a certificate and 2 ECTS.
If you are interested in the summer school, send your application form to email@example.com by March 15, 2014. The registration fee for each participant is 500 EUR for a VUA member and 600 EUR for a non VUA member (excluding travel costs to and from the summer school). The programme of the summer school will be available in March 2014.
Are you a teacher? Send us your application indicating the topic you are able to teach in English and/or Russian (4 hour lecture). Do not forget to let us know which module you want to take part in (Nitra-lectures in English and Russian or Hamburg- lectures in English). The registration fee for teachers is fully covered by VUA (excluding travel costs to and from the summer school).
It expected that approximately 30 students and 5 teachers will take part in the summer school. Due to the limited availability, the quality of applicants and the contribution of the lecture topic to the summer school will be considered.
