With Indian guests about horticulture, viticulture and food quality
05.03.2020A delegation of scientists from the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh, led by the Secretary General of the Government, Naresh Kumar, was welcomed at SUA. The meeting was held under the auspices of the Dean of the Faculty of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering Prof. Dušan Igaz.

The guests showed priority interest in the field of horticulture, agriculture, viticulture, food production and quality in Slovakia and their social impact. They were particularly interested in the educational and research activities of the Faculty of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering and the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences, which were presented to them by Vice-Deans of both faculties: Ing. Maria Bihuňová, PhD. and Prof. Adriana Kolesárová.
As a part of the meeting, members of the Indian delegation also visited the AgroBioTech Research Center, where they got to know the main research activities and opportunities for future cooperation. They were also interested in the microbiology laboratory and its research focus.
