Eleven talented researches who work at Slovak universities or research institutes of the SAS received the award Student Personality of Slovakia on December 14.
Eleven talented researches who work at Slovak universities or research institutes of the SAS received the award Student Personality of Slovakia on December 14.
The absolute winner of the competition Student Personality of Slovakia in the academic year 2014/2015 became Ing. Jakub Berčík, PhD. from the Faculty of Economics and Management. He also won the category of Economics. Currently, he is a special assistant at the Department of Marketing and Trade at the FEM. In his research activities he is focused on neuroscience represented by neuromarketing and neuroeconomics and their use in the sphere of marketing and sales.
The winner of the competition in the category of Agriculture, forestry and timbering became Ing. Lenka Kuželová, PhD. from the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences of the SUA. She currently works as a scientific researcher at the Laboratory of microscopic analyses of the newly established AgroBioTech Research Centre of the SUA in Nitra. Her research is focused on animal biotechnology.
The project Student Personality of Slovakia is organized by the Junior Chamber International – Slovakia. The individual faculties and the departments of the SAS nominated totally 75 students and PhD students in 11 categories at age 18-35 years this year. "I am extremely pleased that through this project, which has been organized 11 years already, Slovakia recognizes such a clever young people who are the model and future of this country," said at the award ceremony the President of the Junior Chamber International - Slovakia Marián Meško.
