30th anniversary of Erasmus+ program has been included in Student Days of Nitra Universities 2017 and associated with the popular Erasmus Village event, which every year offers foreign students the opportunity to represent their universities, and the visitors the opportunity to virtually visit the countries of our foreign students and taste the local cuisines. The event was inaugurated by SUA Vice-Rector for Education and ECTS prof. Mgr. Zdenka Gálová, CSc., and UCP Vice-Rector for International Relations prof. Mgr. Gabriela Miššíková, CSc. Both have emphasized the importance and value of the Erasmus + program, which enables students to learn- in addition to their studies- about the customs, traditions, languages and history of countries not only within the EU but also around the world.
The celebration continued with the voting for the most interesting stand and a with a knowledge quiz about the Erasmus + program. The winning stands were the stands of Colombia, Romania and San Salvador. The programme was concluded by the presentations of SUA students - Kristína Madajová and Šimon Lacena from the Faculty of Economics and Management and Kristína Lukačovičová and Dominik Markovič from the Faculty of Agrobiology and Food Resources. The students presented their mobility experiences from studies and internships in Ireland, Spain and the Czech Republic.
