The international scientific journal Acta Technologica Agriculturae of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra reached an important milestone in its history in June.
For the year 2022, it received an impact factor of 1.4 in the Web of Science Journal Citation Reports (Clarivate) database, which is evidence of its increasing influence in academia and the publication of high-quality research in the field of technology with a focus on engineering, agricultural and biological sciences and materials. The journal is a continuation of the collection of scientific papers, the last thirty-eighth issue of which was published in 1997.
This success is the result of the hard work of the authors, reviewers and editorial team of the journal.
"Our goal is to constantly increase the quality and impact factor of the journal and to publish high-quality articles with global readership. Since 1998, the journal has been published by the SUA Publishing House as a scientific journal," said Professor Roman Gálik, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and editor-in-chief of Acta Technologica Agriculturae.
The magazine is published electronically and in printed form in the months of March, June, September and December, with an average of 32 articles published per year. All contributions are published in English and reviewed anonymously (double-blind peer review). The international editorial board consists of members coming from Europe, Asia, America and Australia.
Since 2013, the journal Acta Technologica Agriculturae has also been published in electronic form by DeGruyter/Sciendo Publishing House. Since 2019, the journal has been indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection - Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) database. The database includes contributions from 2017.
