The pandemic crisis will accelerate changes in agriculture and the food sector

During the pandemic crisis, the agri-food sector proved to be one of the most resilient. At the same time, the shock caused by the pandemic has accelerated the development of trends that have been visible in the sector before - digitization, more informed consumer choices and preference in choosing local products. This emerges from the Food Foresight: Impact of COVID-19 report on the agri-food sector in Central and Eastern Europe, prepared by EIT Food in collaboration with the consultancy Deloitte.
