The Indian Ambassador to Slovakia Mr.Rajiv Misra visited SUA on February 27. The aim of the visit was to intensify the previous academic and scientific cooperation, as well as launch new common activities.
The special guest was welcomed by the Rector Dr.hc prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD. After the initial presentation of our university prepared by the Office of Foreign Relations and International Projects, representatives of all faculties presented the focus, study programmes, international activities and projects as well as the possibility of pedagogical and research collaboration.
The official part of the programme was followed by a brief discussion. In the next part of the programme, the Indian ambassador visited our assembly hall and accompanied by prof. Ing. Vladimir Pačuta, PhD., FAFR Vice- dean for External Relations and Practice, he visited the laboratory at the Department of Sustainable Agriculture and Herbology, Department of Genetics and Breeding Biology and Department of Animal Nutrition, where he was introduced to cutting-edge instrumentation.
The Ambassador Rajiv Misra expressed his interest in intensive cooperation in the near future and suggested particular areas of possible collaboration.
