SUA Rector nominated as a new member of the SAS Scientific Council

Chairman of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAS), Prof. Jaromír Pastorek presented appointment letters to the new members of the SAS Scientific Council on October 17, 2013. Prof. Peter Bielik, Rector of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra was among the appointed experts.
The SAS Chairman informed the newly appointed members of the SAS - Prof. Peter Bielik, Prof. Karol Mičieta, Prof. Ladislav Mirossay, Prof. Robert Redhammer and Prof. Rudolf Sivák about the status and competences of the Slovak Academy of Sciences.
The nomination of Prof. Peter Bielik (until July4, 2017) is seen as a recognition of cooperation and the status of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra within the academia of the Slovak Republic.
SAS is an autonomous research institution of the SR, focusing on the development of science, education, culture and economy.
