SUA is ranked among the world's best universities this year as well

The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (SUA) is again this year included in one of the most prestigious rankings of world universities, The Times Higher Education World University Ranking 2024 (THE WUR 2024).
Among the ranked universities were also eight Slovak universities, among which SUA took 4th place. In 2022, the ranking included almost 1,500 universities, in 2023 there were already almost 1,800 universities, and in 2024 this number rose again to more than 1,900 ranked universities. Despite the mentioned increase, SUA remained in the position between 1201 - 1500th place, thereby confirming its position from the previous two years.
"We are pleased that SUA continues to maintain a stable position among ranked universities from around the world and, according to Times Higher Education, is among the top 8 Slovak universities," said SUA vice-rector for science and research Prof. Drahoslav Lančarič.
The prestigious international ranking of universities THE WUR 2024 is compiled on the basis of evaluations of qualitative and quantitative indicators that cover the entire spectrum of key areas of activity of top universities, especially education, research, cooperation with practice as well as cooperation with foreign scientific research institutions.
SUA was included in this ranking for the first time in September 2019.
