SUA in Nitra was granted another 7.FP EU project


On 23rd and 24th October 2013, two-member delegation, led by the rector  Dr.hc prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD. attended the opening  Kick off  meeting  to 7. FP  NoGAP  - Knowledge Transfer Community to bridge the gap between  research, innovation and business creation, (Supporting action  FP7-INCO-2013-9). It was held at the headquarters of the leading partner of  the project Steibeis Europa Zentrum - Steinbeis Innovation GmbH in Stuttgart, Germany. Opening ceremony of the meeting was attended by Peter Friedrich,  Minister for the Federal Council, Europe and International Affairs, from the  State Ministry of Baden-Württemberg and prof. Dr. Norbert Höptner,  Commissioner for Europe of the Minister of Finance and Economics of  Baden-Württemberg and director of Steibeis Europa Zentrum.

Presentations  were held at the opening meeting by heads of delegations of each partner.  The second day of the meeting was devoted to discussion of individual  specific objectives and tasks of the project, project management and project  financing. SUA is the leading partner of activities within WP 2 Developing  Innovation Support Services to foster Innovation Partnership in the societal  challenges. Detail presentation of the planned outputs was delivered by  prof. Ing. Ján Gaduš , PhD. The contract of 13 project partners NoGAP was  signed on 31st July 2013. Official start of the project was 1st September  2013 and the project duration is for a period of 30 months. The main  objective of the project is to find the most appropriate instruments to  bridge the gap between research, innovation in the areas of renewable  energies, safe, clean and efficient energy generation and bio-economy and  use this knowledge within SMEs on the one hand, but also symbolically  seeking opportunities to bridge the gap between the EU and eastern  countries. In addition to the EU member countries: Federal Republic of  Germany, Romania and Slovakia, there are also Belarus, Ukraine and Georgia  included in the project.
