Peter Bielik, PhD., awarded the honorary title of doctor honoris causa of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra to prof. Laszlo Bardos, DVM, PhD., University of St. Stephen in Gödöllő in Hungary and prof. Ing. Jan Mareček DrSc., Mendel University in Brno, Czech Republic. • photo •
A ceremonial meeting of the Scientific Council of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra was held in the SUA assembly hall on May 22. Rector, Dr.hc prof. Ing. Peter Bielik, PhD., awarded the honorary title of doctor honoris causa of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra to prof. Laszlo Bardos, DVM, PhD., University of St. Stephen in Gödöllő in Hungary, for active cooperation in the development of university and personal contribution to the implementation of international scientific cooperation and prof. Ing. Jan Mareček DrSc., Mendel University in Brno, Czech Republic, for the development of knowledge in the field of agricultural and environmental technology, for international cooperation in research and dissemination of reputation of our university.
The event was also attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Hungary in the Slovak Republic, Csaba Balogh, Senior Director of Cabinet of the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports Dr. Ing. Luboš Sychra, representatives of domestic and foreign partner universities, members of scientific boards and other distinguished guests.
Both awarded Doctors expressed their gratitude and said it is an honour for them to be bear the title of doctor honor causa of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra that has a stable place in the field of scientific and research activities.
