The Erasmus Village event is a popular part of the University Days of Nitra event. This year, it was organized on November 13. Foreign students studying at SUA and CPU within the Erasmus + programme, bilateral or other cooperation programmes were offered interesting first-hand information through exhibitions and presentations from their countries and universities. Those interested in studying abroad, but also other visitors of the event, had the opportunity to virtually "travel" almost the whole world in one day, learn about the traditions of other countries, discuss with foreign students and also vote for the most interesting stand.
The event organized by the International Relations Office of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra was also attended for the first time by the City of Nitra and the Civic Association Peace and Goodness, set up in the client centre at the Municipal Office in Nitra. The Association is the first in Slovakia to provide advice and assistance to foreigners in Slovakia, for example employees of companies or students.
Erasmus Village was attended by 40 foreign students studying at the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra and 13 at Constantine the Philosopher University from 17 countries, including Mexico, Uzbekistan, Colombia, Spain, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Japan, France and others. During the event, students also participated in a knowledge quiz concerning interesting facts about Slovakia as well as the countries from which the students come.
