The Indian Ambassador has visited SUA in Nitra
13.11.2014On 10th of November, H.E. Param Jit Mann, the Ambassador of India to the SR, visited SUA in Nitra. The precious guest accompanied by the member of the Embassy of India Jana Vančová were welcomed by the Rector of SUA Dr.h.c. Prof. Peter Bielik, Phd. and by the Head of Foreign Relations and International Projects Office, Mgr. Vladislav Valach.
On 10th of November, H.E. Param Jit Mann, the Ambassador of India to the SR, visited SUA in Nitra. The precious guest accompanied by the member of the Embassy of India Jana Vančová were welcomed by the Rector of SUA Dr.h.c. Prof. Peter Bielik, Phd. and by the Head of Foreign Relations and International Projects Office, Mgr. Vladislav Valach.
In the beginning of meeting, Rector Prof. Peter Bielik presented to the Ambassador P.J. Mann the current cooperation of SUA with Indian universities, mainly with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprasta University thanks to which intensive study exchange programmes have been implemented. The Rector has stated that students from India have consequently come to SUA in Nitra.
We had also another significant visit of a visiting professor Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh, the president of the Delhi School of Professional Studies and Research. SUA highly appreciates the scientific cooperation with specialists from India. Its contribution is that our experts are members of Editorial Boards of many important Indian‘s professional journals (India Finance, Delhi Business Review). They also actively collaborate with Delhi School of Finance, Delhi School of Professional Studies, University of Delhi, Indian Commerce Institute, Birla Institute of Management Technology or already mentioned Guru Gobind Singh Indraprasta University.
The Indian Ambassador offered the possibilities of establishment of cooperation with other Universities from India with a focus on agriculture. This cooperation will be aimed towards the sphere of science and research to link common activities for building the “AgroBioTech” research centre.
