SUA signed memorandum with OECD

For the Organization, the Memorandum was signed by Deputy Secretary-General Ulrik Vestergaard Knudsen. The Memorandum establishes opportunities for cooperation, in particular with the OECD Directorate for Trade and Agriculture (TAD), which will also welcome the intern of the SUA. Vice-Rector Drahoslav Lančarič also attended a series of meetings with experts with the OECD to discuss possibilities for future cooperation. The representative of the OECD Agri-Directorate Jonathan Brooks appreciated the clear targeting of cooperation on specific topics of the agrosector in which the university has expertise and which are also relevant to the issues addressed at the OECD. The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra is the second Slovak university having such an instrument of cooperation after the University of Economics in Bratislava. Vice-Rector D. Lančarič also expressed the SUA's interest in intensifying cooperation in the future. At the end of their programme, the SUA representatives met with the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic in France and discussed possible cooperation.
