SaMoRob mobile robot at the summit of autonomous vehicles

Trade Bridge International under the auspices of the European Commission and the Center for Scientific and Technical Information of the Slovak Republic. The Faculty of Engineering (FE) SUA in Nitra also participated in the event.

Trade Bridge International under the auspices of the European Commission and the Center for Scientific and Technical Information of the Slovak Republic. The Faculty of Engineering (FE) SUA in Nitra also participated in the event.
The International Summit Online Conference is a pioneer and the largest event of its kind for autonomous vehicles in Central and Eastern Europe. It focuses on mobility, including autonomous vehicles and the conditions for their adoption in the environment of cities and regions of the country, innovations in the automotive industry, user applications of other industries and in the context follows the trends of the current digital transformation. An important goal of the summit is to contribute to opportunities for innovators, universities, IT companies, local governments, architects, tourist resorts, etc.
Within the program doc. Vladimír Cviklovič from FE SUA in Nitra presented the topic Autonomous mobile robotics in agriculture, presented the current state of autonomy of vehicles used in agriculture and then presented the solution of autonomous mobile robot SaMoRob, which was developed by the team at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Automation and Informatics TF.
