Our daily bread and its importance in human nutrition

On  November 20, the second annual Bread Our Daily event was organized under the Aula of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, organized by the Faculty of Agrobiology and Food Resources  (FAFR)and the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences (FBFS).

The activity  was also supported by the Rector of the Slovak University of Agriculture doc. Ing. Klaudia Halászová, PhD. The opening was attended by prof. Milan Šimko and Ing. Ivan Takáč, PhD., As well as the Dean of FBFS prof. Norbert Lukáč.

The aim of the organizers was to highlight the importance of bread and bakery products in human nutrition and the possibilities of its use in practice. Visitors were able to see and taste traditional, gluten-free and sourdough products, as well as various variations of bread cakes and snacks, which represented a variety of uses of these products.
