On 28 November 2018, Chinese language teachers Mgr. Su Yang and Mgr. Zhang Mengqi organized a nice seating connected with various activities for students of Chinese Language at Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra.
More than twenty participants of Chinese afternoon had the opportunity to learn more about culture and customs in China. They tried the art of calligraphy - a Chinese script that consists of six basic signs of brush. They can be combined in a variety of ways, create diverse words, signs and meanings. Another interesting experience was the cutting of wedding napkins or a tea ceremony, which requires selection not only of the most suitable tea leaves, but also of quality dishes and utensils.
Chinese language has been taught at Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra since 2014, when a contract for cooperation with the Confucius Institute in Bratislava was signed. In 2018, Confucius Class was set up at the SUA in Nitra.
