Involvement of seniors in the development of a new product at SUA in Nitra

At the SUA in Nitra, the EIT Food RIS Consumer Engagement Labs project was again launched - Involving consumers in the development of a new product as an activity implemented by EIT Food, one of the largest and most effective food initiatives worldwide.

The project is implemented according to the methodologies proposed and consulted by the leading  University of Warsaw through the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences of the Slovak University of Agriculture  in Nitra in cooperation with the AgroBioTech Research Centre. The aim of the project is the development of new product concepts as a result of joint creation, which is carried out by a coherent group of consumers. 

The EIT Food RIS CEL 2021 project is also taking place this year in the form of online creative seminars, which build on the results from last year. During May, three seminars will discuss the preferences of older consumers and their food choices, as well as their consumer behaviour before and during the Covid-19 pandemic, including food packaging and shopping. Group meetings with older consumers, including last year's seminar participants, are moderated by  Ing. Simona Baldovská, PhD., and PaedDr. Silvia Jakabová, Ph.D.
