Aroma marketing as part of the #ErasmusDays initiative


The Faculty of Economics and Management at SUA in Nitra joined the ErasmusDays initiative on 16 October and prepared an online meeting and presentation entitled What can aroma marketing do? The event, intended not only for students and employees of SUA, but also for the general public, took place through the project Erasmus + KA2 Strategic Partnerships - Implementation of Consumer Neuroscience and Smart Research Solutions in Aromachology (NEUROSMARTOLOGY), no. 2018-1-SK01-KA203-046324.

The participants were welcomed by the Dean of FEM prof. Elena Horská. She acquainted them with the successful activities of the faculty and university within the Erasmus + program. The event also commemorated the 2nd anniversary of the opening of the Laboratory of Consumer Studies, which provides space for research carried out using consumer neuroscience also in the field of aroma marketing.

The organizers prepared a combination of interesting blocks covering different areas of aromachology. They presented the ongoing project NEUROSMARTOLOGY, examples of aroma research in production, the functioning of aroma marketing in practice, aroma research in trade and services, etc.

#ErasmusDays seeks to promote the potential of the Erasmus + program not only throughout Europe but also beyond. Slovakia participated for the second time and the common goal was to raise the profile of both the Erasmus + program and successful educational institutions in Europe. Every year, any institution that has implemented an Erasmus + project can take part in the initiative and would like to help spread the vision of the program and share their own experiences.
