Project description: The aim of the project is focused on networkig and knowledge sharing between Slovak University of Agriculture and Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research in the field of waste management systems. The main aim is to to reduce biodegradable waste problems and costs in handling organic waste, reduce pollution and increase nutrient recycling in Nitra region. The project will develop a strategy for management of organic waste of Nitra region. Project results will be disseminated as a guidebook that will serve as material for local residents, authorities and stakeholders. It will be presented on seminars and disseminated throught direct mails.
