SUA represented at the SAFE Consortium in Brussels by the Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences in Nitra

The Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences in Nitra was accepted as a new Consortium member in December at the meeting of SAFE Consortium based in Brussels.

 

SAFE Consortium (European Association for Food Safety) is a non-profit, non-governmental, international, scientific association founded in 2002 in Brussels. It associates organizations that carry out food safety activities. It includes public and private research institutes, universities, national and international associations and food industry companies and research groups within these organizations. The Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences in Nitra has applied for entry into the Consortium and submitted the faculty's scientific focus as well as publication outputs.

 

The current members of the consortium are research and education organizations and workplaces based in Norway, Switzerland, Poland, Portugal, Italy, Spain, Romania, Lithuania and other countries. Slovak Republic became a member in January 2018 thanks to the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra. For more information, visit www.safeconsortium.org.
